Longevity Medicine – what does the science say
Details
Forever young? Longevity Medicine tells us what science can do today!
“We all want to live a long life in good health,” says Dr Borg who leads The Longevity Clinic from St. James Hospital in Malta. During this meetup, he explains what Longevity Medicine is about: living longer while staying physically active, cognitively sharp and socially present.
While bio-hacking is often more experimental and self-directed, longevity medicine is doctor-guided and focuses on the biology of aging. The goal is to detect disease before symptoms appear. There is no secret formula: the focus is on a holistic approach that fits your lifestyle, together with early screening and prescription treatments when required.
Dr Philip Borg specializes in this field. He is an American board-certified physician in Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine and completed a fellowship in Anti-Aging, Metabolic and Functional Medicine.
With this meetup, we launch a new series of events focused on longevity, bio-hacking and healthy aging, bringing together doctors, researchers and practitioners to explore what science can realistically do today.
Everyone is welcome to join. Live long and prosper 🖖
